Aurélien Panis

I’m Aurélien Panis

In few words

Aurélien Panis followed his father Olivier – winner of the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix – into motor racing. The younger Panis began his career in French F4 in 2011 before progressing to the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 series the following year. After a stint with the Caterham Racing Academy in 2013 Panis joined the ART Junior Team and scored his first Formula Renault wins in 2014. He won twice in Formula V8 3.5 in 2016 and finished fifth in the points.

Having twice finished runner-up in the Électrique Class of the Andros Trophy ice-racing series, it was a case of third time lucky for the French youngster when he claimed the category title at the end of the 2017/18 season. After a stint in the World Touring Car Championship, Panis made a strong impact on his switch to the TCR category, winning on his third start in the TCR International Series in Thailand in 2017. He won the overall e-Andros Trophy champion title in 2020.
